Juli unternahm die Klasse 6 mit ihren Lehrern Herr Loch und Frau Kessler einen Ausflug zum zuk\u00fcnftigen Landesgartenschaugel\u00e4nde.<\/p>\n<p>Wir schauten uns die neu angelegte Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerbr\u00fccke in der N\u00e4he des Bahnhofs an, die \u00fcber die Gleise f\u00fchrt. Dort hatten wir einen ersten \u00dcberblick \u00fcber Teile des Gel\u00e4ndes.<\/p>\n<p>Im Moment gibt es dort noch sehr viele Baustellen. Neue H\u00e4user werden hochgezogen, Blumenbeete angelegt und es entsteht auch gerade der neue Eingang zur Landesgartenschau in der Cornichonstra\u00dfe. Besonders interessierte uns an diesem Tag die Ausgrabungen zur Landauer Festung. Diese finden sich auf einem umz\u00e4unten Gel\u00e4nde Ecke Cornichonstra\u00dfe\/ Hartmannstra\u00dfe unweit des Krankenhauses. Der Arch\u00e4ologe vor Ort zeigte uns von einem Erdh\u00fcgel aus einen Teil der \u00e4u\u00dferen Festungsmauern und Mauerreste einer Kaserne, die dort einmal stand.<\/p>\n<p>Auf unserem weiteren Weg sahen wir uns dann noch an der Ecke Marienring\/ Wei\u00dfenburgerstra\u00dfe die Grabungen zur Lunette 41 an. Hier hat einmal ein Festungsturm gestanden.
